The Jets and Steelers hit the field with the AFC Championship on the line next Saturday (Jan. 22) at 3:30 p.m. on CBS. The Steelers hold home-field advantage as the No. 2 seed in the AFC
The Jets topped the Steelers 22-17 in Week 15 of the regular season in Heinz Field. Now, the Jets have to travel to Pittsburgh again as the lowest seed in the AFC. Will the Jets finally get over the hump after being eliminated in the AFC title game last year? Or will the Steelers end New York's run and advance to the Super Bowl? Which team do you think will win?
New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes calls Pittsburgh safety Troy Polamalu the "greatest player" he has ever played with or seen play in person.
Holmes was teammates with Polamalu in Pittsburgh for four seasons, and says Wednesday that everything the Steelers' long-haired ballhawk does on the field disrupts opponents and causes fits for offenses. Holmes, traded to the Jets in the offseason, says "everybody has their one person they think is the greatest," and in his eyes, it's Polamalu.
Either way its goin to be a awesome game...
